Main functions:

  Making guidelines and plans for the development of literary and artistic undertakings; supporting representative, exemplary and experimental types of culture and art, supporting cultural and artistic works that embody the mainstream socialist core values as well as cultural and artistic groups of national standards or representing ethnic and national characteristics; promoting the prosperity of all disciplines of art; giving guidance to and coordinating national artistic performances, exhibitions and major cultural and artistic events.
