Mr. Cai Wu joined the CPC in January 1973, he was an elected Member of the 10 th  National Committee of the  Chinese  People ’ s Political Consultative Conference and Deputy to the 15 th  National Congress of the Communist Party of China. 

He is now Member of the 17 th  Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
